The Mets experienced that on Tuesday morning when a 10:30 a.m. start gave way to a offensive-laden affair with the Charlotte Stone Crabs. The teams combined for ten pitchers in a 10-6 loss. Eric Beaulac started the game and simply did not have command of his repertoire. Beaulac was all over the zone, leading to seven walks and four earned runs on five hits in 3 1/3 innings. On a steamy, humid morning, the right-hander had little command of his slider and changeup which forced him to rely on the fastball.
