Camacho One Step Closer

Another year, another level, that has been the path of Eddie Camacho's career. In his fourth season in the Mets' system, he took the biggest strides yet, appearing in Binghamton for his second season, and earning his first extended stay in Triple-A New Orleans. Inside Pitch spoke with Camacho as he prepped for the PCL Championship.

Eddie Camacho returned to Binghamton's roster this season after a consistent year with the B-Mets in 2006. The southpaw, originally signed by the Mets as an undrafted free agent in 2004, has progressed each year, used as a stop-gap between starters and closers at each level.
