M's claim Valdez from Mets

The Seattle Mariners claimed infielder Wilson Valdez from the Mets on Friday.

Valdez, 26, was with the Mets for all of two full days. He was claimed off of waivers from the Chicago White Sox on Tuesday.

Valdez played 19 games in the Majors last season with the White Sox. He batted .302 with two homers and 15 RBI in 70 games with Chicago's Triple-A Charlotte club.
