Nimmo is batting just .158 in his last 21 games

SAVANNAH, GA - This season has been an uphill battle for Brandon Nimmo. He is ready to respond to adversity, something he's done consistently throughout his short career in the minors. Nimmo began the season hot, batting .322 in the month of April before being sidelined in May with a hand injury, only to come back in June. Now he's working to find his rhythm again.

"Right now I'm just battling," Nimmo said. "I am trying to work on a few things at the plate and get a little more consistent, there's always room for improvement. Trying to get back in to that groove that I had at the beginning of the season and once I get back there, things will be all good. [I'm] not giving up, [I'm] fighting every day.
