Pirates Prospect Interview: Dilson Herrera

West Virginia Power second baseman Dilson Herrera is batting .260 in 72 games with seven home runs and 37 RBI. Herrera and Altoona outfielder Gregory Polanco join baseball's rising stars for the Sirius XM All-Star Futures Game at Citi Field on July 14 as a part of All-Star Game festivities. PiratesDugout.com's George Von Benko spoke with Herrera recently.

GVB – You were just named to the All-Star Futures Game, are you excited about that opportunity? DH – I am excited for this opportunity. A chance to get on the field with players like that will be a thrill. This game is a great way to show tools and abilities, and I hope I play well. I look forward to the chance to play in a big league park ... and on TV. But most of all, I'm excited for the game...
