Mejia's Rehab Is Close To Complete

BUFFALO, NY - In 2010, Jenrry Mejia was a 20-year-old taking the hill at Citi field as one of the youngest pitchers in the majors. After a largely successful rookie campaign, Mejia's elbow didn't give him a chance to duplicate the results due to a devastating ligament tear that required Tommy John surgery in April of 2011.

Now 15 months following that injury, Mejia is on track to get himself back to where he was two seasons ago, by showing the talent and repertoire of pitches that gave the Mets a reason to add him to their rotation.
