Verrett Making Strides

When Logan Verrett returned to his home state of Texas last winter, he didn't expect to be working a part-time job in addition to preparing for a grueling Sand Gnats Spring Training camp, but the budding pitcher not only sharpened his curveball during the offseason, he made changes on a personal level as well, and his coaches and teammates have begun to take notice.

In fact, when the former Baylor Bear wasn't logging hours at SunCoast, a Texas company that also employs his brother, he was in the gym or on the mound.
