Campbell Keeping It Going

Campbell is hitting .341 in the month of May

After getting off to a slow start in his first full season with the Binghamton Mets last year, third baseman Eric Campbell turned things around in July and has been cruising ever since. He hit .323 over his last 54 games of 2011 after finishing the first three months of the season with a batting average under .200, and has managed to keep last year's late-season success going this year.

Campbell said a lot of his struggles at the plate last season were a result of confidence issues. "Last year was a long year, pretty much everything that could've been wrong with my swing was wrong at some point," he said.
