Wheeler Hitting His Stride

Wheeler has a 1.24 ERA in his last four starts

Zack Wheeler, the 21-year old pitcher from Georgia, is already making his mark in Binghamton. Though the righty's record is 1-2, he boasts an ERA under two, and is averaging six strikeouts a game over his first five starts. As a first round draft pick by the San Francisco Giants in 2009, Wheeler is poised for great things, and he is certainly hitting his stride this year with the B-Mets.

"So far, the season has been great," Wheeler said. "Our team's doing alright, and I think I'm pitching pretty well. So far so good."
