BUFFALO, NY- Whenever a player jumps up to another level of the minor leagues a period of adjustment can be expected. However, some players have the natural talent to make that transition easier than most. That is exactly what Buffalo Bisons' manager Wally Backman is hoping for from the powerful, 6-foot-4 righty, Matt Harvey.

Harvey, who was drafted No. 7 overall out of North Carolina by the Mets in 2010, has been successful at each of his stops within the Mets' farm system. He was a combined 13-5 with a 3.32 ERA last year with the AA Binghamton Mets and St. Lucie Mets of the Florida State League.
