Matz has a long way to go once he comes back

The New York Mets selected left-handed pitcher Steven Matz in the second round of the 2009 MLB Draft out of Ward Melville High School in New York. Immediately succumbing to Tommy John surgery and as of yet to throw his first professional pitch, he still offers some significant upside.
