Jose Reyes
Ht: 6-1 Wt: 160
Position: SS

Bats: B
Throws: R
Date of Birth: 07/08/1983
Experience: Prospect

Biography:
Jose Reyes signed in August 1999 and was assigned directly to the Kingsport Mets. I first noticed Reyes at Kingsport when the Mets moved Enrique Cruz to 3B and Robert McIntyre to 2B to accommodate Reyes at SS. Reyes has been the youngest player in every league he has played in from Kingsport to Binghamton. The Mets converted the naturally right-handed Reyes into a switch hitter beginning in May 2000.
