| The Mets signed Jae Weong Seo as an International free agent in December 1997 despite experiencing some arm troubles. After limited appearances in 1998 and 1999, Seo had "Tommy John" surgery. He missed nearly 2 seasons recovering from the surgery. He has yet to regain his 93 mph FB. |
