| Biography: |
| The Mets signed Aaron Baldiris as an International free agent in 1999. Baldiris had an outstanding 2000 season with the Mets VZL summer league team -- Universidad de Carabobo. The Mets promoted him to Kingsport in 2000 where he hit .222. The Mets discovered he was playing with an elbow injury that required surgery. He missed the 2001 season. And returned to have an outstanding season at Kingsport in 2002. |
