| Heath Justin Bell graduated from Tustin (CA) High School in 1996...Played baseball, basketball, and football in high school...Pitched at Santiago College, where he holds the school record for fewest career walks (four walks in 80 innings)...Also holds the school records in saves (14) and in appearances in a single season (26) and career (51)...Was a freshman All-American in 1997...Heath's grandfather played in the Pirates organization and his cousin Eric Meek played collegiate basketball at Duke and professionally in Spain...He enjoys competing in mini-triathlons. |
