It was a trying year for Michael Antonini in 2009, experiencing varying levels of success as he went a combined 7-6 with a 5.74 ERA in Double-A and two starts in Triple-A. The development of his slider has been a focal point for the left-hander, but his game went beyond that as he worked to strengthen all of his tools and his game in his third professional season.
