St. Lucie pitcher Scott Shaw’s season was marked with inconsistency, but the right-hander battled tough. Fastball command, or lack thereof, was the driving force behind Shaw’s ups and downs, but close work with pitching coach Phil Regan eventually led the right-hander to a strong month of August which allowed him to head into the off-season on a high note.
