The Mets drafted Sean Ratliff in the 4th round of the 2008 Draft out of Stanford University. Known for his big time power at the collegiate level, he made wholesale changes to his swing with Brooklyn to adapt to the professional level. The differences did not come immediately, but rather built a strong foundation for him to come back more productive in 2009.
