There is more to Brad Holt than a fastball		By Jon Star Publisher Date: Oct 23, 2008 Brad Holt, the Mets supplemental 1st round pick in the 2008 draft, primarily stood out because of his ability to maintain a big fastball deep into games. Known for a 145-pitch effort in college when he still hit the mid-90s late, it was presumed he was too fixed on his heater without much else in the tank. That changed during his season in Brooklyn, and the results will continue to pay off.
