Right-hander Stephen Clyne began the year in St. Lucie where the hope was he could continue to hold down the closer’s role. However, with early ineffectiveness, his season started slow and before long he found himself back in Brooklyn to iron out miscues in his game. Despite the return, he is confident he turned a corner by the end of the year.
