The St. Lucie first baseman had yet another huge year, leading the Mets’ to a second half surge culminating in a Florida State League playoff berth. Despite an early season ankle injury that sidelined him nearly six weeks, Nick Evans still set career highs in many offensive categories. Unfortunately, a stress fracture will cause him to miss the rest of the Winter League season.
