The New York Mets drafted Shane Hawk out of Oklahoma State University in the 4th round of the 2003 draft. A tall and lanky left-hander, Hawk has some fantastic stuff and projects to be a very good relief pitcher for the Mets. He missed all of the 2005 season with an array of injuries. On the mend, Hawk could come back stronger than ever. Here's a scouting report on Shane Hawk.
