The New York Mets signed left-handed pitcher Edgar Alfonzo as an International free agent out of Venezuela back in 2002. The mere fact that he's left-handed and throws good secondary pitches means his stock is automatically higher than most. Ranking #48 among the Top 50 Mets' prospects, here's a scouting report on Edgar Alfonzo.
