The New York Mets tabbed former Arizona State first baseman Ike Davis as their top selection in the 2008 MLB Draft. Davis had a disappointing first season in the organization as he struggled to find any footing at the plate with Brooklyn, but confidence remains that he can get pointed in the right direction next season and beyond.
