Kingsport third baseman Richard Lucas lost nearly all of his 2008 season to injury, but has worked his way back to the field this season after a long rehab stint. He has been on fire since his return and has yet to show any signs of slowing down as he remains locked in at the plate.

2008 was a frustrating season for Richard Lucas. The fourth round pick in the 2007 draft was limited to just 38 games after a torn meniscus and the following surgery put him on the shelf for the season and into the off-season.
