Scouting Mets Prospect #19: Shawn Bowman

The New York Mets selected Shawn Bowman in the 12th round of the 2002 draft out of high school. After nearly two years away from the field due to major back problems, Bowman finally returned for a portion of the 2008 season and showed off the tools many knew were there all along, namely his excellent defense and power bat.
