Leduc Focusing On His Changeup

Leduc's changeup will be his most important pitch

Guillaume Leduc, the Mets' 6th round pick in the 2007 Draft, arrived in Kingsport after a successful stint in the Gulf Coast League last summer. Leduc has a good sinking fastball, but the focus this year has been a shift from his hard-throwing mentality into more of a controlled approach that centers on his changeup.

"Everything is going really well both from Extended [Spring Training] and in Kingsport. I had a great spring down in Florida, and I know my start in Kingsport has been rough at times but I put that to nervousness," Guillaume Leduc described of his spring to date.
