Bowman Back in Action
"It feels really good, really good. It's been a long road of recovery and right now everything is going well, I'm feeling good and it's great to out there and play on a daily basis again," detailed Shawn Bowman when asked about the health of his back. It has been a long, trying three years for the 23-year-old third baseman who has endured multiple back surgeries during this period. Yet, despite the setbacks and all the painstaking rehab assignments, he once again finds himself on the St. Lucie roster ready to get his career back on track. The road to full recovery has not been easy for Bowman who underwent long bouts of grueling rehab and still completes daily exercises just to prepare his body to play every day. Nonetheless, as long as his back is mobile while the uniform is on, he is content with its condition.
