Struggles Slow Down Pellot

After a big turn around last season, Hector Pellot has yet to find a rhythm this season. The second baseman had a short stay with St. Lucie at the conclusion of 2007, but began the year with the club in hopes that he could continue the progress he previously demonstrated. So far, things have not worked as he hoped. Pellot explained to Inside Pitch the steps he is taking to get on track.

Categorically, it is easy to see that this season to date has not gone as planned for Hector Pellot. The 21-year-old second baseman had an impressive reversal of fortune in 2007 with Savannah when he hit .274 with seven home runs in 114 games following the 2006 season when he hit for a meager .198 average, but so far this season, the production is simply absent.
