Clark wants a big second season

Darren Clark played his first regular season within the organization in 2007 as he split time between Kingsport and Savannah, showing the athleticism to shine in the outfield. But Clark's hunger and passion lie in the batter's box, so now heading into his second full season, he wants to take his offense to another level by hitting, hitting and hitting some more.

Darren Clark's name may not resonate compared to other outfield prospects in the organization, but the former undrafted left-hander made a strong case for further attention after a fine rookie season in 2007.
