The New York Mets selected the right-hander in the first round of the 2004 MLB Draft out of Rice University. He was the third overall pick and has since worked his way closer to the big leagues with each passing season. Humber made his debut with the Mets in September and seems to ready to make that a permanent stay. Here is a scouting report on New Orleans starter Philip Humber.
