The Division II National Pitcher of the Year was selected by the Mets in the 20th round of the 2007 MLB Draft. As a middle of the pack draft pick, Dylan Owen entered the organization without much fanfare, but after his season with the Cyclones, eyes have certainly affixed on him. Inside Pitch spoke with the right-hander after the conclusion of Brooklyn's season.

Dylan Owen's career started simply. He picked up a win after two perfect innings in relief on June 21 against Staten Island. However, it was five days later when the 21-year-old right-hander made his splash. On June 26, he blew through the Aberdeen lineup in five innings of perfect pitching and struck out six.
