Pellot's Season May Be Over

After being selected in the 4th round of the 2005 MLB Draft out of Puerto Rico Baseball Academy, Hector Pellot has struggled in his professional debut with the Hagerstown Suns this season. He was taken out of Saturday night's game after a collision with Greensboro's Brad Correll and first year in the Mets' system may be over.

Hector Pellot, attempting to finish off a routine double play against the Greensboro Grasshoppers in the fourth inning of Saturday's 6-5 Hagerstown victory, injured his knee when Greensboro right fielder Brad Correll slid into him to break up the play.
