Every time Eddie Camacho is handed the ball on a minor league pitching mound, he makes Met scouts look like prodigies. The 23-year old pitcher is raising eyebrows across the organization and earning the respect of those who never looked his way in the 2004 draft.

Eddie Camacho signed with the Mets in 2004 as an un-drafted free agent, and finds himself starting the season with AA Binghamton only two years later.
