Robles Working To Regain His Old Form

Robles has a 5.65 ERA since his return from the DL

ST. LUCIE, FL – In the span of just a few weeks, right-hander Hansel Robles was relegated to the disabled list twice: an upper-back injury forced the youngster to miss a couple of starts at the end of April, then a right shoulder strain put him back on the DL in late May. Now, finally healthy again, the 22-year-old from Bonao in the Dominican Republic is looking to regain his 2012 form.

He led the New York-Penn League in ERA [1.11 in 12 games] and ranked fifth in strikeouts [66] in 2012. But so far the road to reclaiming his old self has proven to be a bumpy one. Since Robles' debut with St. Lucie on April 4, his ERA has fluctuated from as low as 0.00 to as high as 9.00, and more recently, in his three starts since coming back from his latest injury, the 5-foot-11 pitcher...
