ST. LUCIE, FL - Aderlin Rodriguez is showing flashes of potential indicative of a promising future. After posting tremendous power numbers in his second year with Savannah, Rodriguez was promoted to high-A St. Lucie in mid July. He is the essence of a power hitter and has continued his power tear in St. Lucie.

Aderlin Rodriguez has been on the rise throughout the minors. In 2009 through only 62 at-bats, he hit .290 with one home run and had a .389 OBP with the GCL Mets. In 2010 Rodriguez hit .300 with 14 home runs and a .350 OBP between Kingsport and Savannah. However, he had a bit of a down year in 2011, hitting .221 with 17 home runs and a .255 OBP.
