Diehl Hoping For Better Luck In 2012

KINGSPORT, TN - Jeffrey Diehl's second year has already been a turnaround compared to his first season with the Kingsport Mets. After spending most of last year on the bench due to various injuries, Diehl has five RBI on eight hits through the first ten games of the 2012 season.

"It was a little disappointing, I had stitches on my knuckle, and it was just a bad spot," the first baseman and catcher said. "I was supposed to come back the final week [of last season] to play but got the stitches out and first throw, it opened up again."
