Reyes was promoted to Triple-A this week

Raul Reyes started this season with the Triple-A Buffalo Bisons, but after 15 appearances with the International League, he was transferred to the Double-A Binghamton Mets, where his home runs had become a major part of the Eastern League's success before his most recent promotion back to Buffalo.

Born in the Dominican Republic, Reyes was signed by the New York Mets as an international free agent in 2004. After missing a majority of the 2008 season due to a right ankle fracture, he joined the Binghamton Mets in 2010 and was promoted to the Buffalo Bisons (AAA) in 2011 mid-season.
