Pugh Not Backing Off

Sand Gnats outfielder Tillman Pugh's career in professional baseball started off with what could easily be considered a worst case scenario. Pitch number one of his professional baseball career turned out to be a 95mph fastball that broke his jaw and fractured bones around his left eye. For a brief moment Pugh thought his career was over before it had begun.

"It was scary and to be honest I was thinking my career was over right there, but five weeks later I was back doing baseball activities and going after the things I wanted to accomplish," Pugh said.
