BROOKLYN, NY - When a player suits up for his first professional game, he expects to feel the excited energy of being a rookie. However, Tillman Pugh felt the cold side of a baseball that wiped out his first season in 2010. Now the outfielder is healthy and has found a rhythm that has excited him and led to more of the production he expects from himself.

He had just put on his uniform as a member of the GCL Mets for the first time and before he knew it, a 95 MPH fastball landed him flat on the ground. That's how it played out for outfielder Tillman Pugh, the Mets 15th round pick in the 2010 draft.
